Dennis Mitchell
A Native of Troy, NY, Dennis Mitchell began building his career growing up in his father's training stable. His success showing his father's ponies quickly garnered the attention of other professionals, leading to catch rides on national champion ponies, and exposure to the training style of the nation's best horsemen.

Besides a long and successful career as a Grand Prix rider himself, Dennis is always keen to share his knowledge. He went on to train other Grand Prix riders, including Olympic hopefuls and qualifiers, Aaron Vale and Todd Minikus. He has developed winning national equitation riders and USEF year-end champions in both the hunter and Jumper divisions, accumulating championships at Harrisburg, Washington and New York along the way.

Over the past five decades his riding and training has taken him to all corners of the United States and Europe. Dennis brings a lifetime of knowledge and experience as well as his passion for the sport to each lesson and clinic he gives, from beginner level to Grand Prix preparation.

At any given horse show he can be seen running between the short stirrup and Grand Prix arena with equal enthusiasm and ever- present smile on his face.

Dennis is currently available for haul in lessons at Oldenbroek Tabor Sporthorses and for Clinics both inside and outside of Texas.
